House Rules - 2011 Bulldog Bash Raffle

Three raffle prizes will awarded:
$5,000.
$ 750.
$ 250.
In the event that at least 300 tickets are not sold and at the option of the STCAA, the raffle will revert to a 50/50 drawing in lieu of the $5,000 grand prize. The amount will be determined as ½ of gross proceeds less the cost of food and beverage. |

Eligible participants |
All ticket purchasers over the age of 18 years are eligible to win, including officers of the STCAA, although the STCAA may not purchase a ticket and win on its own behalf. |

Method by which the winners will be determined and the raffle will be conducted |
The drawing will be held at the annual Bulldog Bash on February 26, 2011 at the Golden Glow Ballroom, 2950 S Graham Rd., Saginaw, MI 48609. The winner need not be present to win.
The winner will be determined by a random drawing of purchased tickets. The $5,000 prize will be drawn first; the $750 prize will be drawn second; and the $250 prize will drawn last. Winners will be announced in the reverse order of the tickets drawn (i.e., the $250 winner will be announced first, etc.)
The winner will be identified based on the name as it appears on the corresponding raffle ticket stub. |

Contingency plan for inclement weather or other extenuating circumstances if the raffle or alternative raffle cannot be conducted as planned |
In the event that the regularly scheduled Bulldog Bash can not be held as planned, an alternate date will be established and the drawing will be held on that date. |

Unclaimed prizes |
If a raffle prize is refused, not claimed, or if the winner cannot be located within 60 days of the event, then the STCAA shall conduct another raffle using the original pool of ticket stubs. |

Responsibility for taxes |
Winners are responsible for all applicable federal and state taxes. |

Refund policy |
No ticket refunds will be given. In the event that that Bulldog Bash is cancelled and not able to be rescheduled, ticket refunds will be given to the extent of the cost of the meal associated with the Bulldog Bash. |

Regulatory Requirements
The Charitable Gaming Division of Michigan is responsible for establishing the administrative rules (required under Michigan Act 382 of 1972) as they pertain to raffles. Section R 432.21510 (Rule 510) requires that a licensee establish and adhere to its house rules for the conduct of the raffle. The licensee is required to post the house rules in a conspicuous place or print the house rules in sufficient number for distribution to all interested persons. At a minimum, the house rules shall contain all of the following information:
- The licensee’s name.
- The license number.
- The price of the raffle ticket.
- The method by which the winners will be determined and the raffle will
be conducted.
- The contingency plan for inclement weather or other extenuating
circumstances if the raffle or alternative raffle cannot be conducted as
planned.
- The redemption claim period for charity game tickets as prescribed by
R 432.21611(1)(c).
- The redemption claim period for numeral game tickets as prescribed by
R 432.21709(1)(e).
- The refund policy.
- The effective date of the house rules.
Note: Charity game tickets (item f) and numeral game tickets (item g) do not apply to the Bulldog Bash Raffle.
